what went wrong ????
It was done to Kapil Dev, then Mohd. Azharuddin , & now to Sourav....... !!! Why this helpless conditions to people who have earned much more than what they get !!!!
After 2003 Cricket World Cup , India returned RUNNERS-UP and with the tag the only team which can shake the gigantic Aussies !!!!! And moreover Ganguly was considered as a great legend and was talked about as one of the great captains the game has ever seen !! But, today he has been looked at like a beetle which is trying hard to come into the team like it does near some human ....
Why , this !!! IT ALL STARTED WHEN GREG(*?<*)( tintin style ) wrote an e-mail to the BCCI at unnecassary stage and for political or some */**ing reason the BCCI gave the letter to the Media which started the uprisal of great fires and riots ( media ppl enjoyed with titles saying "COMPROMISE FORMULA" ) .......
and there came in the Compromise where ganguly was rested due to injury .. which led to he worst ever functioning of the BCCI selection commitee.. Ganguly out & India thrashed the Lankans !!!!!!! NEXT came the AWESOME.....
India played the Lankans in the tests & Gangu.. was picked as an ALLROUNDER ( soooperu.. )
& after the 2nd test ( he scoreed 80 odd runs ) , he was dropped for the third with some weird reasons.... then came the Pakistan tour ... where again he was dropped for the 2nd est without even playing a ball in Pakistan & the greatest of all decisions was when MORE after announcing the Indian team for the home series against England (in the absence of Yuvi ) said GANGULY WILL NOT PICKED AGAIN TO PLAY FOR INDIA !!!!
Then after a few weeks , came the news that Ganguly was picked in a advisory comitee to assist the selectors ( grand move by the board to make saurav become selector & not a player )

WHATS HAPPENING ??????
The now Indian captain, Rahul was once considered a Gajji & everyone decided he dint deserve a place in ODI side !!! there the brave captain DaDa stood up & brought up a team with rahul as wicket keeper which worked quite great till the world cup !! he was instrumental in developing players like Yuvi, Kaif, Habhajan & Sehwag !!!
Often the people of India justify Ganguly's exit comparing with Waugh's exit ( they compare Indian selection comittee with the Australians just bcoz an aussie is a coach ) Steven Waugh went out of the game in ROYAL way, he was given an honourable exit whereas in the Ganguly's case , they invited him to a party , said Hi !! at the door and shut the door right at his face.......

will this exit be repeated to our maestro Sachin ??? we hope it shouldnt !
